Welcome to OSSTube! Before you start your educational journey, please review our terms and conditions.

Platform Usage:

(1) By accessing OSSTube, you agree to comply with our terms and any future modifications. If you disagree, kindly refrain from using our platform.

(2) Content Mapping: YouTube channel owners have full control over mapping and sharing their videos on OSSTube. If a channel owner decides not to share specific videos, they can easily disable them.

(3) Course Creation: Only YouTube channel owners categorized under "Education" or "People & Blogs" are allowed to create courses on OSSTube.

(4) Charges for Paid Courses: OSSTube will charge a 5% transaction fee on each course transaction, which includes applicable income tax and GST services. Additionally, a 2% service fee will be deducted from the YouTube channel owner's side. In total, 7% will be deducted from each course transaction. Once the payment for a course is made, users will have access to the course for an unlimited duration (for every year) without any further charges, provided they have made the one-time payment.

(5) Payment and Fees: All transactions are subject to the fees mentioned in Platform Usage Point 4. Payments will be processed securely through our platform. YouTube channel owners will receive payments within the specified working days for each paid course or transaction.

(6) Termination of Account: If OSSTube finds any abusive content, misleading information, or pornography, OSSTube reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts that violate our terms or guidelines without prior notice.

(7) Changes to Terms: OSSTube may update these terms from time to time. Users are advised to review them periodically for any updates. OSSTube will share updates through email or here so we are requesting keep in touch with us.

(9) Free Trials: Your subscription may start with a free trial. This is not applicable to end users, and is only available to YouTube channel owners. YouTube channel owners can sign up and receive a 1-month free subscription. After the trial period ends, OSSTube will charge 1,000 INR per month for using our platform or services, either through QR code or directly via the platform. For end-users, the duration of the free trial period is 1 year, as specified during sign-up. OSSTube determines free trial eligibility at its sole discretion and may limit access, eligibility, or duration. We reserve the right to terminate the free trial and suspend your subscription if we determine that you are not eligible.

Monetization Opportunity for YouTube Channel Owners:

OSSTube offers a unique opportunity for YouTube channel owners to access our platform without the standard 1,000 INR monthly fee. Achieve the following within one month, and your monetization will be activated.

(1) Gain 100 subscribers to your YouTube channel.

(2) Have at least one subscriber purchase a course on the OSSTube platform through your channel.

(3) Upon meeting the above criteria, a one-time payment of 4,328 INR (equivalent to $50 USD) is required to OSSTube to activate monetization.

Once these requirements are met and the payment is processed, you'll enjoy one year of access to OSSTube's platform services without the monthly fee. After this initial payment, you will receive 93% of the revenue generated from each course transaction on the OSSTube platform attributed to your channel.

Why Should You Join OSSTube as a YouTube Channel Owner or Mentor:

If you are a YouTube channel owner on the OSSTube platform, you can promote yourself as an interviewer through our new platform, which will be launched soon. To do so, you can submit a request to become an interviewer for IT companies, and this opportunity will be promoted through our platform. This is a significant opportunity in your life, and you can start earning with us.

Why Should You Join OSSTube as a Student, User, Candidate, or Learner:

If you have completed a paid course on OSSTube, you will be eligible to submit your CV to IT companies through our new platform, which will be launched soon. If you are rejected in the first interview, you will have the opportunity to apply for a second interview with another company. OSSTube will provide you with two chances to secure a job through this new platform. If you are still rejected after your second interview, you will receive ₹500 from the OSSTube platform. This is a gesture to acknowledge your effort, as OSSTube understands that not every student or candidate is a perfect fit for every IT company. This is a common challenge faced by Indian IT companies, and OSSTube wants to support its users in this regard.

OSSTube Security & Legal Policy:

(1) Responsibility of OSSTube:

OSSTube will not be responsible for any issues arising from YouTube's platform or YouTube community guidelines after joining our platform. If a YouTube channel owner encounters any problems related to YouTube platform, community guidelines, or any other policies, OSSTube will not take responsibility or take any actions against YouTube.

(2) Why We Use the YouTube Platform:

The reason we operate through the YouTube platform is aligned with YouTube community guidelines. Our mission is to increase the number of content creators in the Education category from YouTube. OSSTube aims to support YouTube channel owners by helping them grow and reach more viewers through our platform.

(3) Earning More Views on OSSTube:

When YouTube channel owners join OSSTube, they have the potential to earn more views on their content through our platform. This is a significant opportunity for creators, and it has been emphasized by OSSTube as a key benefit of being part of the platform.

(4) View Analytics via YouTube Studio:

YouTube channel owners can verify their progress through the YouTube Studio Analytics page. Specifically, under the Content tab, they can check the section titled "How viewers find your videos" or look under the External tab for insights.

(5) Video Monetization and not run Ads on OSSTube:

If YouTube channel owners map their videos to the OSSTube platform, they can still view and play these videos. However, if the channel is monetized, the video will not show ads while playing on OSSTube. This is because the video is running through external resources (i.e., through the OSSTube platform), so YouTube will count the views but will not run ads. This approach benefits viewers who access content through OSSTube without being interrupted by ads.

(6) Impact of Viewing Videos through OSSTube:

For our viewers, this system ensures a better viewing experience since videos played through OSSTube will be ad-free, while still counting towards views on YouTube. This is beneficial to both creators and viewers as it enhances the content experience.

Termination of Account:

Non-Compliance: OSSTube reserves the right to terminate or suspend accounts violating our terms, guidelines, or the conditions specified for video uploads.

Payments and Refund Policy:

Changes to Price and Subscription Plans:

Price Adjustments: OSSTube reserves the right to adjust the prices of any OSSTube channel owners courses and subscription plans. Changes may be implemented to reflect market conditions, currency fluctuations, or updates to our platform's features. Any adjustments will be communicated to users through the platform and will take effect after a reasonable notice period.

Subscription Plans:

Changes to subscription plans, including features and pricing, may occur to improve the overall user experience. Users will be notified of any modifications in advance, and these changes will apply upon the next billing cycle.

Users are encouraged to review subscription plan details regularly and reach out to OSSTube's support for clarification on any adjustments.

Refund Policy:

Course Earned: Once a user has complete a course and made the payment, they are not eligible for a refund, even if the request is made within 14 days of purchase.

Course Not Earned: If a user does not learn the course within 180 days from the date of enrollment, their registration will expire. To regain access to the course and continue progress, users will need to re-enroll and make a payment to cover the course fees.
