1. Intellectual Property & Embedded Media

Videos displayed on OSSTube are hosted on YouTube and embedded via official YouTube API protocols. OSSTube does not claim ownership of embedded videos; full intellectual property ownership remains with the respective YouTube creators and copyright holders. OSSTube provides an organized, distraction-free educational interface, curriculum structure, and certification layer for these materials.

2. User Conduct & Fair Use

Users are strictly prohibited from using automated systems (scraping bots, crawlers, unauthorized headless scripts) to extract proprietary course structures, learner data, or video streams. Any account engaged in denial-of-service, system exploitation, or distribution of hate speech will face immediate, permanent termination without notice.

3. Platform Usage & Educator Rights

• Authorization: Verified Educators and Institutions categorized under “Education” enjoy exclusive privileges to architect structured, monetizable tracks and certifications.
• Content Control: Creators retain 100% control over their course catalog. You decide which playlists or modules are published, priced, or archived.
• Pedagogical Integrity: OSSTube audits courses to ensure code quality, active mentor support, and zero deceptive practices.

4. Financial Terms (Revenue & Payouts)

• Industry-Leading Revenue Split: Educators receive 93% net payouts on course sales. A flat 7% fee is deducted to cover 5% statutory GST/taxes and 2% payment gateway infrastructure processing.
• Automated Payouts: Revenue is settled directly to the Educator's registered bank account within the standard settlement window (T+Working Days).
• Course Access: When a learner purchases a course, they receive uninterrupted access for the duration specified (typically lifetime access), subject to fair usage.

5. Subscriptions & Star Educator Fee Waiver

• Free Creator Trial: New Educators may be eligible for a 1-month trial of the Professional Creator Suite.
• Star Educator Program (100% Fee Waiver): Educators who gain 100+ Subscribers and complete 1+ Course Sale within 30 days are granted a permanent platform fee waiver. A one-time activation fee (approx ₹4,328 / $50 USD) provides 1-year premium platform access with 0% recurring monthly platform fees.

6. Career Opportunities & Learning Stipends

Learners who successfully complete verified certification tracks are eligible for invitations to our Career Connect portal, granting access to partner tech hiring firms. Candidates who advance through rigorous interview rounds but narrowly miss final selection may be awarded an encouragement “Learning Stipend” (e.g. ₹500) under active partner campaigns.

7. Disclaimer & Third-Party API Liability

OSSTube interfaces with third-party video APIs (including YouTube). Views generated via embedded players may count toward native YouTube metrics. OSSTube is not liable for changes in YouTube API availability, video takedowns executed on the host platform, or third-party policy shifts.
